TORONTO, Ont. – A vacant home in North York suffered extensive damage after a powerful three-alarm blaze Saturday.
Fire crews were hampered by thick smoke and had to cut open a portion of the roof to put out the fire.
The blaze happened just before 5 a.m. Saturday at a vacant home on Eldora Avenue, near Yonge Street and Finch Avenue.
No injuries were reported and there has been no word on what may have caused the fire.
