TORONTO, Ont. – Police have re-opened all the eastbound lanes of the QEW at Highway 403, after they were closed earlier Saturday morning for a crash investigation.

The driver of a motorcycle involved in the crash was taken to hospital with serious injuries, according to officials with the Ontario Provincial Police.

The driver’s condition has now been upgraded to non-life threatening.

It’s believed the driver may have somehow lost control of his motorcycle, although few details on the cause of the crash are currently available.

The highway was originally expected to stay closed for several hours as police completed their investigation.
