The smog advisory issued by Environment Canada for Toronto, Halton-Peel and York-Durham has ended.
The advisory went into effect shortly after 3 p.m. and ended shortly after 9:15 p.m.
Officials say the hot and hazy conditions, combined with southerly winds, resulted in elevated smog levels across parts of southern Ontario.
