Microsoft is opening a store at Yorkdale this fall.

The store will be the first international outlet, the company’s 31st retail store. Fifty new jobs will be created.

The nearly 7,000-square-foot area is expected to have wraparound video walls, a station to test-drive Kinect, and a service area for tech troubles.

Once it opens it will mean that Yorkdale will be home to a Microsoft store and an Apple store.

It’s not yet clear if this will be the only store in Canada.
