OAKVILLE, Ont. – Halton police have found an 83-year-old man after a day-long search.
Police say Frank Garger was located near St. Joseph’s hospital in Toronto, Wednesday afternoon.
He was taken to hospital for assessment. Officials say he appears to be in good health.
Mr. Garger was last seen leaving his home near Kerr and Rebecca streets, near Lakeshore Road and Dorval Drive, on Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities were concerned for his safety as he suffers from several medical conditions, including dementia, type-2 diabetes and a heart condition.
