TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have identified a man who was shot and killed in the city’s west-end, Thursday.
Police say 25-year-old Abdulle Elmi of Toronto died from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
The shooting happened on Meadowbank Road, in the Highway 427 and Burnhamthorpe Road area, just after 4 a.m.
EMS officials told 680News Elmi was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are looking for help from anyone who may have seen the deceased, on Thursday, July 5, 2012, just after 3 a.m., in the Yonge Street/College Street area.
