Police are looking for two suspects – one of them believed to be armed – after an alercation on Yonge Street, north of Sheppard.
An off-duty police officer confronted the two men around 11:30 a.m. The cop suffered non life-threatening injuries, while the suspects fled.
The suspects are described as black males in their 20s – one with a thin build and one with a heavy build.
Police are currently examining surveillance video.
