TORONTO, Ont. – Three men will be due in court Saturday, after a routine investigation recovered a loaded handgun in the city’s west end.
Officers were conducting a routine patrol near Oxford Drive, near Weston Road and Eglinton Avenue, when they encountered a group of men around 10:45 p.m. Friday.
It’s alleged the men then ran away from the officers and a chase ensued, with more than 30 officers called to the scene.
Police located a loaded handgun and arrested three men, who are all believed to be 24.
The men are facing numerous weapons and ammunition-related charges.
