TORONTO, Ont. – A teenage boy is recovering in hospital after being stabbed near Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue early Saturday morning.
The 16-year-old boy, who has non-life threatening injuries, was stabbed at a house party on Melrose Avenue around 1 a.m.
Toronto police have one teen in custody and are currently searching for a second.
The motive for the stabbing is still unknown and it’s unclear if the victim and suspects knew each other.
