WHITBY, Ont. – A toddler is in serious condition at Sick Kid’s Hospital after being struck by a car while walking in Whitby Tuesday night.
The 23-month-old boy, whose identity has not been released, was walking hand-in-hand with a woman when he was hit by a car backing out of a parking spot.
The toddler was airlifted to hospital after the incident.
There has been no word on whether the driver may face charges.
