Only days after Microsoft released their new tablet computer, Google has added some crowding to the already busy market.
Google released their latest product Wednesday, a tablet computer dubbed the ‘Nexus 7.’
Hoping their version will be an iPad killer, or at least competitor, Google is attempting to join what has become a highly lucrative industry.
Their tablet will feature a 7-inch screen and operate on a version of Google’s Android operating system called Jellybean.
The tablet is also equipped with a front-facing camera and will have the ability to download movies and television shows.
It will also have access to Google Play, where thousands of apps will be available for use.
Perhaps best of all? The tablet is set to retail for the relatively low price of $199.
It is set to ship to stores in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada in July.
