Residents of Peel Region are about to learn more about plans for a light-rail line along Hurontario and Main streets.
The proposed LRT would stretch from Lakeshore Road in Port Credit into downtown Brampton.
The line is being described as a way to increase economic and residential development in both cities.
Subject to funding, construction on the line could start in 2014.
A public meeting is being held at the Mississauga Civic Centre, Wednesday afternoon.
