TORONTO, Ont. – A graduation ceremony at the University of Toronto was interrupted by a flash mob, Thursday evening.
The flash mob was in honour of Chancellor David Petersen’s retirement.
Just as president David Naylor was giving some final advice, a student began to sing “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.” A choir and a band quickly joined in.
Petersen’s last official day as chancellor is June 30.
