Mayor Rob Ford’s bid to buy parkland next to his home has died.
The Toronto Star reported the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority voted unanimously to refuse Ford’s request, Friday morning.
The Mayor wanted to purchase the 2,800 square foot parkette next to his Etobicoke home so he could install a security fence.
His application sparked an altercation with Toronto Star reporter Daniel Dale during his visit to the parkland Ford wanted to buy.
