A Calgary mother faces a 13-year jail sentence after confessing to killing her infant son in diary entries written for her dead husband.

Stacey Joy Bordeaux, 34, was given credit of three years and five months for time already served. She has another nine years and seven months left on her sentence.

in 2010, Bordeaux pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the 2004 death of her 10-month-old son Sean Fewer and to attempted murder of her other five-year-old boy in 2010.
