HAMILTON, Ont. – Ontario’s police watchdog, the Special Investigations Unit, is investigating after two males were found dead in Hamilton.
The Hamilton Police Service reports that, at approximately 5:30 a.m., an off-duty Hamilton police officer reported seeing two men on the Jolley Cut overpass in Hamilton.
The off-duty officer had some interaction with the men, and shortly afterward they were found dead on the roadway beneath the overpass.
Now that the SIU has been called in no more information will be released.
Four investigators and two forensic investigators have been assigned to the case. Anyone with information is being asked to contact the SIU at 416-622-0748 or 1-800-787-8529.
