Whitney Houston’s life is going to be remembered in a book by her mother, singer Cissy Houston.

The elder Houston has signed a deal with HarperCollins for a memoir on her daughter.

She said the book will reveal the “unabridged and unbelievable story” of her Grammy-award winning daughter, who died in a hotel bathtub in February.

Houston has said that she hopes the book will give her daughter’s fans “something to treasure.”

HarperCollins announced that the currently untitled book is scheduled to come out next February.
