TORONTO, Ont. – Here in the GTA, Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee is being celebrated by her followers and fans, both the two-legged and four-legged kind.
Woofstock, the largest outdoor festival for dogs in all of North America, will celebrate the jubilee Sunday with a dog-friendly high tea event at the Windsor Ballroom at the King Edward Hotel.
The menu will include everything from beef-broth tea to canine crumpets, along with many other English edibles.
Attendance at the tea event, which begins at 2 p.m., is being limited to seventy dogs and their owners.
The Queen is a dog-lover herself, having had more than 30 corgis during her lengthy reign.
