TORONTO, Ont. – An elderly woman has died after a single-vehicle crash in Milton.
OPP officers told 680News that the 78-year-old woman was a passenger in a car that left the highway before rolling into a ditch.
It happened around 12:00 p.m. Sunday in the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 401 near Hwy. 25.
The male driver was airlifted to a Hamilton hospital with serious injuries, but police say he is expected to recover.
