Progressive Conservative MPP Frank Flees says he has obtained leaked cabinet documents that warn the McGuinty government not to approve former ORNGE head Chris Mazza’s scheme for the air ambulance service.

The Toronto Star reports, Klees has been given a bankers box full of internal memos, leaked from front line health ministry workers.

Klees says the documents make it clear that someone at a very high level was manipulating this proposal through the approvals system, against the advice and warnings of senior civil servants.

Klees maintains the documents prove bureaucrats were sounding the alarm eight years ago.
