TORONTO, Ont. –  Bike to Work Day was held across the GTA, Monday.

The day, which is being marked by a communal bike ride, is designed to motivate people to be more active in their daily commutes.

In Toronto, cyclists from all over the city convened at Yonge and Bloor streets at 7:30 a.m.

They then headed to Nathan Phillips Square for a complimentary breakfast at 8 a.m.
