TORONTO, Ont. – In a surprising case, everybody managed to escape with only minor injuries after an early morning crash in the city’s west end.
The incident began when a car driven by a nun on her way to church was hit by another vehicle at Eglinton Avenue and Keele Street.
According to police, the man in the car that hit the nun was so shocked and distraught that he gave his iPhone to a passerby who offered to help and call police.
It’s alleged that man then ran off and stole the phone without calling police.
Police believe the car that struck the nun’s vehicle ran a red light, but there has been no word on any charges for the driver.
There has also been no information released on the car driven by the bystander who stole the iPhone.
