TORONTO, Ont. – Police are raising the alarm after an abduction attempt in Scarborough, Sunday night.
Investigators said a 14-year-old girl was approached by a man last night around 9:30 in the Alford Crescent and Sewell Road area.
The suspect grabbed the teen and tried to pull her into his car, but she was able to break free and run away.
The suspect is described as black, mid to late 30′s with short black hair and a moustache. He was driving a newer model silver vehicle.
Police are warning everyone, but especially women and girls, to be aware of their surroundings, while asking anyone with information on the suspect to come forward.
