Ontario Provincial Police have charged a man with impaired driving after an early-morning crash on the QEW.

The single-vehicle collision happened at around 3:30 a.m. in the Niagara-bound lanes, near the Burlington Skyway.

Emergency crews had to free the driver from the wreck.

There has been no word on his injuries.
