NEWMARKET – The town of Newmarket wants you to “ease your speed.”
The annual traffic safety campaign encourages drivers to slow down.
Three digital speed boards will be set up at various locations throughout Newmarket and drivers will be able to instantly see how fast they are going.
The boards will hopefully encourage drivers to ease off the gas if they are going too fast.
Mayor Tony Van Bynen says as the town grows, traffic safety continues to be a top priority.
Digital speed signs will be placed throughout Newmarket during the week to urge drivers to ‘ease their speed’ and promote traffic safety
