MILTON, Ont. – Be careful if you’re out and about in Milton, Ont.
Halton Regional Police said it has received several bear sighting reports in the last couple of days.
The first one was on Saturday. Someone spotted a bear near Guelph Line and Highway 401.
On Sunday, a local farmer spotted a bear on his property near Sixth Line and Lower Base Road.
Halton police officers spotted the bear later that same day but it scurried off.
Police have contacted the Ministry of Natural Resorces in a bid to find the bear, and they’re asking anyone who spots the animal to keep their distance.
