MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Nearly forty firefighters were called to the scene of a raging two-alarm fire in Mississauga early Saturday morning.
Everyone was able to make it to safety, after the blaze broke out just after 10:00 a.m. on the exterior property of an industrial building on Wolfedale Road, near Dundas Street West.
All employees in the building, owned by Kal-Trade Inc., a plastic materials processor, were accounted for after the fire.
A large cloud of smoke could be seen billowing from a long distance, as one listener named Dave, who was on his boat in Lake Ontario, told 680News.
“We’re approaching the harbour area of Toronto and it’s a massive black cloud that’s continuing to billow and grow,” Dave said.
