TORONTO, Ont. – The Toronto police are opening their doors to the public Saturday, as an open house is being held at 42 Division to kick off police week.
Officers at the east-Scarbrough station will be conducting tours, hosting a community barbeque and holding a rummage sale, with all proceeds going to the Community Liaison Committee.
For the children, an electronic fingerprinting booth will be available.
The event began at 11 a.m. and will continue until 4 p.m. Saturday.
Toronto Police 43 Division is located at 242 Milner Ave., near Markham Road.
Police week runs until Saturday, May 19.
