TORONTO, Ont. – The Real Jerk restaurant has found a new home.
With its iconic sunshine facade, it spent 24 years at the corner of Queen Street East and Broadview Avenue.
The restaurant was supposed to move out at the end of last year however the owner went to court in February and won a temporary stay of eviction.
The Real Jerk will vacate the spot at the end of this month and announce its new location on May 23.
The restaurant’s owner admits all the recent media attention has been good for business.
He said plans to announce the new location via Twitter.
