Fire crews spent Sunday morning battling a blaze at a house in Richmond Hill, after emergency officials were called to the scene just after 7:45 a.m.
While nobody was injured in the blaze, the home was severely damaged despite the best efforts by workers.
It took firefighters several hours to completely get the fire under control, which left the house effectively gutted.
There has been no report as to what may have been responsible for the blaze or how many people were living in the home.
