Health Canada is warning that the cancer drug Revlimid may be linked to new cancers developing in people who take it.
New cancer tumours have been reported in a small number of people who have taken the drug.
The warning does not include those using the drug who are being treated for anemia.
Health Canada and the drug manufacturer Celgene are updating the label information to make note of the concern.
