TORONTO, Ont. – A severe thunderstorm watch has ended for the city of Toronto and the GTA.
The watch had been issued by Environment Canada as showers with thunderstorms were expected for the evening, ending before morning.
Environment Canada says thunderstorms in some areas of Ontario may be severe with large hail, damaging winds and heavy downpours.
The severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for:
- Caledon
- Guelph – Erin – southern Wellington County
- Orangeville – Grand Valley – southern Dufferin County
