May 4 is also known as “Intergalactic Star Wars Day.”
The day is special for fans of the popular science fiction films, who will greet each other by saying “May the 4th be with you” – a clever play on the film’s classic phrase “May the Force be with you”
In honour of the day, the Toronto Underground Cinema is letting fans celebrate at a Star Wars themed party.
Attendees are invited to dress in costume, prizes will be given out and Star Wars fan films will be shown.
The star of the popular Star Wars parody web series “Chad Vader: Day Shift Manager” will be in attendance to do a question and answer session with fans.
All proceeds from the event will be given to The Hospital for Sick Children.
