TORONTO, Ont. – With weather looming, Occupy Toronto protesters are leaving Simcoe Park.

The few dozen protesters left at the location held a general meeting Wednesday afternoon to decide their next move. They then cleaned up the park and slowly left the location that they had taken over for almost 24 hours.

One occupy protestor told 680News the new tactic may be to hold a series of targeted 24 hour protests.

Protesters marched from May Day demonstrations at City Hall to the park Tuesday evening.

The group was marching in protest against mining companies Barrick Gold and New Gold, both of which had shareholders meetings at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Wednesday.
