BARRIE, Ont. – The Ontario Provincial Police told 680News a man is in custody after a crash on Highway 400 near King Road, Thursday.
The OPP said a car hit a tractor-trailer at around 5:20 a.m., causing severe damage to the front end of the car.
The driver was then seen getting out of the wrecked vehicle and running off through the bush.
He was later arrested in Barrie.
Charges are pending.
