MISSISSAUGA – Peel police have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with a fatal motorcycle collision.
On April 25, 19-year-old Kyle Sayani’s was driving his motorcycle on Mississauga Road. Police say the motorcycle travelled into oncoming traffic and struck a Mississauga transit bus.
Sayani was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the motorcycle was travelling at a high rate of speed when the collision occurred.
Witnesses had reported seeing two motorcycles driving at a high rate of speed just before the crash.
“At the time there was a second motorcyclist that was riding his motorcycle in close proximity to (Sayani),” Constable Thomas Ruttan told 680News.
On Thursday, investigators with the Major Collision Bureau arrested the rider of the green motorcycle that was involved in the collision.
Paolo Blanco of Brampton has been charged with fail to remain causing death and criminal negligence causing death.
