It’s the little airline that could.

USA Today has named Porter as one of the 10 best airlines Americans have never flown, but should.

Porter’s on a list with other fast-growing world famous names.

USA Today calls Porter’s location at the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport ultra-friendly, with the airline’s all-coach seating and cabin service earning excellent marks in international traveler surveys.

It joins Jet Blue as the only North American airline getting four-star Skytrax ratings.

Some of the other airlines that USA Today lists as top performers include low-cost flyer Allegiant Air. Global flyer Turkish Airlines has been named Europe’s best airline by Skytrax.. South America’s LAN Airlines, Virgin Australia, Cityjet of London, Iceland Air and Asiana Airlines are some of the other brands the paper said travellers should consider.

On the downside, USA Today said Porter uses only turbo-props which many travelers don’t like and it can’t yet provide pre-clearance for people headed for the U.S.
