Environment Canada warns of dense fog for GTA and beyond

TORONTO, Ont. – Environment Canada has issued special weather statement warning of patchy dense fog in Toronto, GTA and beyond, Tuesday.
Drivers and pedestrians are being advised to exercise extra caution.
The special weather statement is in effect for:
- City of Toronto
- Burlington – Oakville
- Mississauga – Brampton
- City of Hamilton
- Pickering – Oshawa – southern Durham Region
- Vaughan – Richmond Hill – Markham
- Halton Mills – Milton
- Caledon
- Niagara
- Belleville – Quinte – Northumberland
- Kingston – Prince Edward
Visibility could be poor at times, but the fog is expected to dissipate later Tuesday morning.
Porter Airlines and Air Canada have advised all passengers to confirm their flight status before heading to the airport.
Air Canada said who want to re-book can do so free of charge online.
