300-foot paint stack at Oakville’s Ford plant to be demolished Saturday

Oakville residents should prepare for a big “boom” early Saturday morning.
The 300-foot stack, which was part of the now de-commissioned paint shop at the Ford Plant, will be imploded and demolished.
It will come down at 6 a.m.
Parts of the Queen Elizabeth Way, Highway 403 and the South Service Road will be shut down for about 10 minutes for the operation.
