Video games can lead to attention problems, impulsive behaviour: Study

A new study finds too much time spent playing video games can lead to both attention problems and impulsive behaviour in children, which results in them playing more video games.

Researchers examined the gaming behaviour of more than 3,000 children in Singapore over a period of three years, and found those who played the most games had a tougher time concentrating long enough to accomplish a goal.

The study found that the children’s health and behaviour were also affected.
