TORONTO, Ont. – Mayor Rob Ford is down two pounds this week to 308 pounds, for a total of 22 pounds lost since the “Cut the Waist Challenge” began on Jan. 13, 2012.

His brother, Councillor Doug Ford, lost three pounds this week and weighed in at 252, down 23 pounds.

Rob Ford and Doug Ford weighed in at 330 pounds and 275 pounds, respectively, at the start of the weight-loss challenge.

The brothers said it’s getting tougher.

The mayor said the food, not the exercise, is the hard part, and it’s been especially tough because his children like going to McDonald’s.

Rob Ford refused to comment about the special TTC meeting Tuesday afternoon in which TTC chief, general manager, Gary Webster is expected to be fired.

TTC chair and ex-Ford ally Karen Stintz told 680News she hasn’t been told specifically what’s on the agenda other than a personnel matter, but she’s convinced it will be the ouster of Webster.
