It appears robford.ca has not been hacked, but someone is playing a joke on the mayor.
When the site loads, it shows a white screen that reads: “Rob Ford (January 31, 1862 – June 8, 1892) was an American outlaw best known for killing his own gang leader Jesse James in 1882.”
It then redirects to the Wikipedia entry about American outlaw Robert Ford.
The site does not appear to be owned by Ford. He did use it while he was councillor, but now, according to whois.net, a domain lookup site, robford.ca is owned by Fresh Grape Solutions Inc.
Earlier Tuesday, robford.ca read “Rob, we’re sorry!” before redirecting to The Toronto Star’s website.
The site appeared to make light of the mayor’s feud with the newspaper over his alleged conduct as a high school football coach.
Ford’s official website with the City of Toronto is http://www.toronto.ca/mayor_ford. His mayoral website is http://www.robfordformayor.ca/.
