If you haven’t done so already, this could be the weekend to put the winter tires on your car.
Canada’s tire makers say while across the country, about half of all drivers put winter tires on their vehicles, in Ontario that percentage drops to 39 per cent.
Studies show, on winter roads, you stop 40 per cent faster if your car has snow tires on than if it has all-season tires.
