TORONTO, Ont. – Somebody in Oshawa will be getting a wonderful weekend surprise, that after the OLG announced the winning ticket for Friday’s $50-million Lotto Max Jackpot was sold in Oshawa.
This marks the second time in the past several months a massive Lotto Max prize was won here in the GTA.
It is still unknown whether it’s an individual or group that possesses the winning ticket, and it will likely remain a mystery until the Lottery Prize Centre opens again Monday morning.
The jackpot wasn’t the only major win for Ontario Friday, as several Maxmillion winning tickets were sold in Ontario. The OLG says the following winning tickets were also sold in Ontario:
- $1,000,000 in Ottawa
- $1,000,000 in Windsor
- $500,000 in Georgetown (shared with Western Canada)
- $579,817 in Trenton (sharing second prize pool with two in Quebec)
The jackpot for the next Lotto Max draw on Nov. 25 will be $21-million.
