3 York Region MPPs want Ont. government to force end to YRT strike

Three Conservative MPPs in York Region have called on the McGuinty government to force an end to the transit strike that is now just shy of three-weeks-old.
If the strike isn’t resolved by the time the legislature resumes sitting on Nov. 21, Frank Klees, Peter Shurman and Julia Munro want the government to enact back to work legislation.
They also want the government to declare all transit systems in the GTA as essential services, making it illegal to strike.
The TTC was declared an essential service in March.
