TORONTO – Two of Canada’s top recording artists have joined forces for the first time and 680News got an exclusive interview with the Juno Award winner, Chantal Kreviazuk, who spoke about collaborating with Canadian hip-hop star, Drake.
Kreviazuk told 680News, meeting with Drake’s producer lead to talks about collaborating with the artist on his upcoming album, “Take Care.”
“I am thrilled because the creative process was beautiful. I feel privileged to have lent my voice and melodic take on his fancy footwork,” said Kreviazuk.
She was even asked to perform with him on the single, “Over My Dead Body.” She said she is impressed by him as an artist.
“The reason why I am so excited about this song is because I just love this song. I love how Drake is all about Toronto and all about Canada. Amidst all of this stardom, there is such a humility,” said Kreviazuk.
Drake’s second album is said to release November 15.
