Cancer now leading cause of death in Canada

For the first time, cancer is the leading cause of death in every Canadian province and territory.
A new report says cancer accounted for 30 per cent of the country’s deaths in 2008.
The second leading cause of death in every province and territory was heart disease — except in Nunavut, where suicide ranked second.
