City’s plan to cut library hours put on hold for now

TORONTO, Ont. – A plan to save money by cutting library hours has been put on hold for at least a month.
However, 100 jobs could still be chopped.
The positions would be lost through attrition and voluntary buyouts.
The library board has decided it needs more information about the impact of the cuts.
