Injured workers protest MPP offices across Ontario

TORONTO, Ont. – Groups of injured Ontario workers occupyied the constituency offices of six provincial politicians, including that of premier Dalton McGuinty and opposition leader Tim Hudak, Wednesday.

The workers were protesting against a Workers’ Compensation system that they say leaves disabled labourers in poverty.  They were also protesting lack of inflation protection and reduction of WSIB benefits.

The protest was organized by the Ontario Federation of Labour and took place at MPP offices across Ontario.
