Police investigate double shooting in Scarborough

SCARBOROUGH, Ont . – Two young men are in hospital with gunshot wounds after a double shooting in Scarborough, Saturday night.

Toronto police told 680News that they were called to Canlish Road, in the Lawrence Ave. and Birchmount Rd. area, where they found two males in their early twenties with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said one of the men was shot in the buttocks while the other was hit in the right arm and torso.

Police are now searching for two suspects; the first is described as a black male, approximately 5 foot 8, with a slim build and wearing a bandana.

The other suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, with a slim build. The police investigation continues.
